Some insurance companies want you to visit their drive-in claims center before bringing your vehicle to a repair shop. You can do this, or you may leave your vehicle at our location and request that the insurance company inspect the vehicle here.

Walk-ins are always welcome from 8 am to 5 pm. If you need to make an appointment outside of our regular business hours, please call us to schedule an appointment. We are happy to come in early or stay late to accommodate our customers.

To get an accurate estimate, it is important for us to see the car’s damage in person.

 

If you are unable to bring your vehicle to the shop, we are happy to come to you. Please call to schedule an onsite estimate.

All we need is the damaged vehicle, but if possible bring your insurance information and claim number.

Differences in collision repair estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all the necessary work required. In the process of fixing the damage caused by the collision, additional repair issues may be revealed. If you’re not sure why one estimate is different from the other, please ask us. We will be glad to go over it with you.

Yes, we will work with the insurance company on any supplements (additional damage found to be accident-related) and will bill them directly.

You have the right to go to the shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop. Lone Peak Collision Repair will warranty all work performed.

Never drive a car that could be unsafe because of damages. Contact us and our collision repair experts can assess the damage to your vehicle. We can help determine if it is safe to drive until repairs can be scheduled. We can also assist in rental needs if it is unsafe to drive. In addition, we’ll help guide you through the insurance claim process.

Not necessarily, only if it is part of your policy coverage. Check with your agent. If your claim is being covered by the other party’s insurance, they must provide you with a rental car while repairs take place.

We can arrange for a rental company to pick you up and drop you off at our shop. Please let us know in advance if you will need rental assistance.

Because each situation is different, there is no standard time period for repairs. The length of time is dependent on the extent of the damage, availability of parts, and your insurance company’s timeliness. When preparing your estimate, we will provide you with an estimated time of completion. If additional damage is found, we will contact you to advise of any changes.

Not necessarily, using a state-of-the-art computer measuring system, Lone Peak Collision Repair can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that a section of the frame is bent beyond repair, that section can usually be replaced.

If the damage to your car is greater than your car’s worth, then the insurance company will considered it be a “total loss” or totaled. If the loss is being paid for by an insurance company, then the insurer is normally required to pay you an amount equal to the car’s value based on the condition it was in prior to the accident.

Any questions regarding potential rate increases should be directed to your insurance agent. This can vary depending on who was at fault, the circumstances of the loss, and your insurance policy.

The easiest and most convenient way to pay for your portion of the repairs to your vehicle is with a major credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept cash, bank checks, business checks, and insurance checks. Personal checks are accepted up to $500.00.

All insurance companies have different guidelines and may require the usage of alternative parts.
